Jane Baxter

Managing Director

Jane has over 20 years experience in public relations, publicity and marketing, and a passionate commitment to customer service. She will really turn up the heat on public relations.

For six years from 2001, Jane was a senior marketing executive for Stockland Cairns, responsible for award-winning initiatives and campaigns.

The Spirit Awards initiative, was so successful that Stockland rolled it out around Australia. It was also nominated for a Maxi Award in the 2006 International Shopping Centre Awards.

Prior to moving to Cairns Jane had her own successful publicity company for ten years creating events, promotions and launches for a number of clients including the Australian Film Institute, United International Pictures and international toy producers Mattel.

For the launch of a cinema complex in Melbourne, Jane orchestrated everything from the invitations, themed display and catering, to the press conference for Cate Blanchett.

She’s worked as National Publicist for Village Roadshow and created campaigns and initiatives for six years for the Law Institute of Victoria, designed to build the relationship between the public and the legal profession.

Danni Tela

Account Manager

Danni’s client service and management experience was honed working in client liaison in the advertising industry and in marketing and customer service for major shopping centres in Townsville and Cairns.

She has created and implemented successful marketing strategies and the co-ordination and production of television, radio, print and campaigns.

Danni has 15 years experience managing all aspects of event management media and advertising for corporate and government sectors, recently working on the Cyclone Larry relief programme.

In her extensive career in promotions, Danni has worked with Mushroom Records, the Big Day Out promoters, and international touring company Frontier Touring.

Some of the clients she worked with were were: Paul Kelly, Jimmy Barnes, Renee Geyer, Peter Gabriel, Bon Jovi, Madonna and, serendipitously, the Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

John McDougall and Jeff Barnes

John (pic right) has 30 years experience in visual merchandising and event management having worked for department store giants, David Jones and Myer, in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney.

His clients included Estee Lauder, Clinique, Very Special Events in Sydney, Wedding Looks Sydney and events design and display for Stage One in Melbourne.

After moving to Cairns in 1995, John together with Jeff Barnes established Laneway Productions which has set the benchmark for stylish visual impact in the region.
